How do I become a Gigger on bidToGig?

Sign up at bidtogig.com and choose the Gigger role. After verifying your email and phone number, complete your identity verification (a government-issued photo ID and a selfie). Once approved — typically within 1–2 business days — you can start bidding on gigs.

How long does identity verification take?

Identity verification is reviewed by our admin team within 1–2 business days. You'll receive an email and in-app notification once approved. If additional information is needed, we'll reach out with instructions.

How many bids can I submit per month?

The number of bids depends on your subscription plan. All new Giggers receive a 5-day free trial with a limited bid allowance. After the trial, choose between the Starter plan (up to 10 bids/month) or our Pro, Premium, and Yearly Pro plans, which offer unlimited bids.

Why can't I submit a bid?

Accepted Answer

You may be unable to bid if: (1) your identity verification is pending or rejected, (2) your subscription has expired, (3) you don't have a connected Stripe payout account, or (4) you've reached your monthly bid limit. Check your Gigger Dashboard for your current status.

How and when do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

After the Poster confirms gig completion, Stripe processes your payout to your connected Canadian bank account. Funds typically arrive within 2–5 business days. All earnings are visible in Dashboard → Payment History.

What is bidToGig's platform fee for Giggers?

Accepted Answer

Zero commission on standard gigs. (For high-value projects of $1,000+, bidToGig may apply a project success fee to support payment protection, dispute support, and platform operations.)

What happens if a Poster cancels after I start the work?

Accepted Answer

If a Poster cancels an assigned gig (after escrow is funded), a 14% cancellation fee is charged to the Poster.

How does bidToGig's AI help me get gigs faster?

Accepted Answer

Our AI scopes each poster's task and matches it against your Skill Passport, tools, and location — then sends it straight to your dashboard as a Dispatch Invite. You can accept instantly or counter-bid, so you're not stuck scrolling through every open gig.

What if my skill isn't a listed category yet?

Accepted Answer

Describe it anyway. Our AI can create a new category on the spot rather than forcing you into the closest existing box.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from Dashboard → Settings → Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Contact support@bidtogig.com if you need assistance.
