Meet Our Leadership
The minds, mission, and autonomous AI architecture driving the future of fair on-demand gig work in Canada.
“Fairness is not a feature; it is the foundation. We built bidToGig with an AI-native architecture so that technology handles the tedious scoping, pricing, and matching, while humans retain 100% of their earnings and total dignity.”
Before writing the code that powers bidToGig, I was a gig worker myself. Moving from Quebec to Calgary in late 2024 brought immediate survival challenges. I hauled junk, repaired computers, assembled furniture, and helped families move in sub-zero winters.
That lived experience revealed the deep flaws in legacy platforms: predatory 15% to 20% middleman commissions, arbitrary ratings, and manual directories where posters and service providers struggle to articulate task requirements.
Combining my background as an educator, cloud DevOps engineer, and software architect, I transformed bidToGig into an AI-native gig commerce platform. Our AI Copilot instantly extracts task parameters, generates equipment checklists, and discovers fair-market pricing, while our AI Skill Passport matches certified local service providers with zero commissions on standard gigs.
Thought Leadership & Focus Areas
Zero-Commission Economics
Legacy marketplaces extract 15–20% of worker wages. bidToGig pioneers a fair subscription-first model where local giggers or service providers keep 100% of standard gig payouts, returning purchasing power back to neighborhood workers.
AI Task Scoping & Skill Passports
Moving beyond static directory listings, our multimodal AI Copilot translates everyday voice or text into structured tool requirements, safety checklists, and verified Skill Passports for instant, accurate dispatch.
Autonomous Stripe Escrow Trust
Decentralized labor demands ironclad transactional trust. Our automated Stripe escrow securely locks funds before work begins and instantly releases payments upon completion and mutual verification.
